January

January is the perfect month for exploring destinations that can be challenging to visit during the hot summer months. In Africa, you can visit the ancient wonders of Egypt – the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, and the temples of Luxor, all under pleasant daytime temperatures ranging from 15°C to 21°C.

However, in Asia, Thailand’s dry and pleasant weather, with cool temperatures, makes it an excellent time to visit the stunning beaches of Phuket and Pattaya.

Egypt

Egypt is a land where history comes alive!  Picture yourself standing next to the awe-inspiring Pyramids of Giza, giant tombs built thousands of years ago. These majestic structures are one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. They’re truly a sight to behold. Explore the Great Sphinx, a giant mythical creature with a human head and a lion’s body. Visit ancient temples decorated with hieroglyphics, the mysterious writing system of the pharaohs. Visit the ancient temples like Karnak, a massive complex that took thousands of years to build. In Luxor, walk the same path as pharaohs at the Valley of the Kings, a burial ground for ancient rulers. How can we forget the Red Sea coast, famous for its beautiful beaches and crystal-clear waters. Perfect for relaxing under the sun, snorkeling among colorful fish, or even scuba diving! Egypt is a culture-packed destination also known as “Umm Al-Dunya,” meaning “Mother of the World,” because of its rich cultural heritage.

Thailand

The best time to visit Thailand is during the cool and dry month of January. The weather is perfect for exploring its beautiful beaches, vibrant cities, and stunning natural landscapes.

Start your tour with Khao Yai National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. It’s Thailand’s oldest and most visited national park. Here, you can enjoy wildlife, lush forests, and beautiful waterfalls.

Thailand is famous for its breathtaking beaches and collection of almost  1,000 islands. Phuket is a must-visit for its white sandy beaches, amazing sunset views, and beautiful temples. Whether you’re traveling alone, with friends, or with family, Phuket offers an unforgettable experience.

Pattaya, along the eastern coast of the Gulf of Thailand, is another great destination. It’s also known for its gorgeous beaches, water parks, natural beauty, and religious temples. Take long walks along the beach or explore the lively streets.

In Bangkok, don’t miss The Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew, home to the Emerald Buddha. Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn, and Wat Pho, with its giant reclining Buddha, are also top attractions.
